How an athlete feels tells another part.
Context — work, sleep, cognitive load —
tells the rest.
Those three rarely come together
at the right moment.
Coaches guess. Athletes push through.
Or they hold back when they could go.
That's the problem NØRVE solves.
A decision layer. Not a data dump.
Reads what wearables miss
Physiology is the starting point. Behaviour, context and cognitive load complete the picture.
Opens the conversation
NØRVE gives coach and athlete a shared language. Not more data — more understanding.
One clear direction
No list of parameters. One recommendation. Built for the moment, not the archive.
One glance. Full picture.
Your athletes. Their readiness. Every morning.
For coaches who truly want to know how their athletes are doing.

FOR COACHES
You coach the training.
NØRVE coaches the context.
One dashboard. Every athlete. Daily insight into who is ready, who needs attention — and why. The conversation you needed, before it was too late.
FOR ATHLETES
You know your body.
NØRVE learns how it responds.
Not every signal is visible. NØRVE reads the full picture — physiology, daily life, mental state — and reflects it back. So you and your coach can make better decisions together.

Decision rationale
Decision is ADAPT/PROTECT because underlying physiological data (HRV, TSB trend) show an accumulation signal, despite high subjective scores and motivation.

Testimonials
“
Before, I had to check multiple apps and messages to get a complete picture. Now I see at a glance who needs extra attention — and I can spend my time coaching instead of searching.
— Hendrik Heylen, endurance coach

The best part is that NØRVE always explains why. Not just 'rest today' — but the reason behind it. That gives me more confidence in its advice than other apps that only show a score. It feels like NØRVE understands my body better than my wearables do — thanks to the open questions it asks.

As a 400m and 800m runner, my sessions are often gruelling. NØRVE is ideal for me because it lets my coach see, objectively, how I'm doing physically and mentally. On top of that, the open text field is a great daily outlet to get things off my chest.

Frequently asked questions
Features
Why does NØRVE ask athletes how they feel? Isn't wearable data enough?
Two athletes can show the same HRV, the same sleep score and the same training load, and still need a different session. One has had a quiet week; the other is in the middle of exams or working towards a deadline. On paper they're equally fit — in practice they aren't. Research into mental fatigue shows that cognitive load measurably reduces endurance performance: the same effort feels harder, even when the body has recovered. That's why NØRVE weighs how an athlete feels mentally — motivation, stress, cognitive load — alongside the objective data from wearables, and always shows the reasoning behind its recommendation. Physiology is the starting point; the head completes the picture.
Which wearables does NØRVE support?
We integrate with intervals.icu, and we support any wearable that intervals.icu supports — including Garmin, Wahoo, COROS, Polar, Suunto and Apple Watch. A free intervals.icu account is all you need for NØRVE, though they do offer paid plans if you'd like to support them.
I don't use any wearable. Can I still use NØRVE?
Not really. NØRVE's strength is combining objective data from wearables with the subjective data athletes log in their daily check-ins. Without the wearable data, the picture NØRVE can build becomes far more limited.
Does NØRVE schedule/plan my workouts?
Not really. NØRVE doesn't help you plan a training block from scratch — for example, "I want to run a marathon in six months, what and how should I train?" What it does do is recommend how to adjust or tweak the sessions you've already planned, based on an athlete's mental state and training load.
Is NØRVE for coaches or athletes?
NØRVE is built primarily for coaches, to help them monitor multiple athletes at once. Are you an individual athlete without a coach? Get in touch — request access and we'll see how we can help.
Does NØRVE support my sport?
NØRVE currently targets endurance sports — running, cycling and swimming. If you coach athletes in other sports (for example fitness), get in touch and we'll see how we can help.
Subscriptions
Is there a discount when I pay annually?
Yes. When billed annually you get one month free: you pay for 11 months and get 12.
Why is my subscription with 'Creem'?
NØRVE uses Creem as its Merchant of Record. Creem handles billing on our behalf, which lets us support payments from coaches worldwide and issue correct, locally compliant tax invoices.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel directly from the NØRVE dashboard, or from your own Creem dashboard.
Can I get a tax invoice?
Yes. Just make sure to enter your company details at checkout, and a correct tax invoice will be issued.
Misc
How do you pronounce NØRVE?
NØRVE is pronounced /nɝːv/ — like the English word "nerve".
Can I export my data?
Yes. You can download your personal data at any time from your profile in NØRVE, as a single file. It contains your own information, such as your profile, check-in answers, reports and synced training data. This export is in line with your right of access and data portability under the GDPR.
What happens to an athlete's data when they switch coaches?
The data belongs to the athlete, not to the coach. It stays with the athlete's account, so nothing is lost when they change coach. The previous coach loses access as soon as the athlete is no longer linked to them, and a new coach can see the athlete's data once they are linked. Answers that an athlete has chosen not to share with their coach stay private either way.
